This is the finance book I'd give to high school seniors/college freshman. ( )

This will forever be my favorite personal finance book. I read it in college and it was really helpful and has shaped a lot of my personal finance philosophy, and I just read it again and picked up even more than I did the first time and actually grasped a lot of the things Ramit talks about with investing. Thinking I’m going to make it a regular thing to read this book once every few years! ( )

I love personal finance books, they're my secret addiction. This one includes lots of snarky humor and is definitely geared toward someone younger than me, making 6 figures, but it was still a good basic how to guide as far as investing goes. ( )

Recommended.

The language is crude, but the information is straightforward and actionable. I have yet to seem a book on personal finance that was as clear and actionable as this one. ( )

Decided to finish this book, since I had a flight and will soon have income once again. It's fantastic, and I'd heartily recommend it to *all* of my twentysomething friends. While most of the tactics are very Amerocentric, the strategies for budget layout and portfolio diversity should work in any country. In particular, this book taught me a lot about what my credit card could be doing for me, but isn't because I was ignorant. Officially fixed.

Highly recommended.

Here are the quotes I took away from the book:
