Tot nu toe het beste deel. Ik begon zowaar af en toe iets van emotie te zien hier en daar. Maar je moet wel vanuit je ooghoek kijken en vooral niet knipperen, anders is het weg. De wereld blijft me intrigeren, dus deel 4 gaat er wel achteraan. Hopelijk blijft die stijgende lijn doorzetten. ( )

Í þessari þriðju bók um Amber ættina hefur aðalsöguhetjunni tekist ætlunarverk sitt og náð til sín réttmætri krúnu veldisins en áttar sig nú á að valdablokkir innan ættarinnar eru að seilast til áhrifa. Hálfgerð leynilögreglusaga því erfitt er að komast að því hverjir eru að verki.
Zelazny var margverðlaunaður vísindaskáldsagna og fantasíu höfundur og Amerheimurinn er sennilega hans þekktasta sköpun. Ágætis lesning. ( )
