I happen to be familiar with the concept of a spindizzy -- the drive powering the eponymous cities in flight -- and I think it's a generous sci-fi idea that should be known to more fans and writers, up there with Ursula K. Le Guin's ansible. But the book is hardly one of the great classics everyone's heard about. Making it available under a CC license would make it infinitely more accessible.
