This is a new children's book addressing the critical importance of parents and other caregivers talking to and talking with their children from birth until age 5. There is some excellent research documenting the value of doing this. It's that research that prompted the creation of this children's book about mommy talk.
Doug Yeager is the President of the Nancy M. and Douglas M. Yeager Family Foundation. The Foundation supports early childhood development programs in honor of the memory of Nancy M. Yeager who, as a preschool director and teacher, dedicated her professional life to helping young children prepare to be successful in school and in life.
The Foundation is making this book available free of charge to individuals, nonprofits, government agencies, schools and libraries. Use it with your own children or make it available to many famiiies through an appropriate organization with which you are associated.
