Anhand einer Gruppe iranischer Geflüchteter, die 2015 nach Deutschland kamen, verfolgt Reza Bayat, wie sie aus ihren Fluchterfahrungen ein eigenes Narrativ entwickeln, das die dominanten Erzählungen von Flucht und Migration in vielerlei Hinsicht herausfordert. Dabei wird auch deutlich, wie ihre Körper durch Prozesse der Migration und bordering practices zum Sprechen gebracht werden.
