This book concisely and briefly reviews key aspects of animal grazing and its relationship with animal performance and production. It does not aim to offer a comprehensive overview of grazing and animal performance. Instead, it presents selected reviews on forage and biomass production and their impact on animal performance. The book is divided into two sections. The first section includes three chapters covering various aspects of grazing, forage production, conservation, and grazing strategies. The second section presents discussions and reviews in two chapters, focusing on intensive grazing strategies, livestock management, and sheep meat production under feedlot conditions. Although the information presented is based on regional and local research projects, its application is relevant and valuable for similar regions worldwide.
