It integrates the studies that, from multiple perspectives and disciplines, addressed diverse and current issues of language, literature, history and Hispanic cultures during the XXI Congress of the International Association of Hispanists held in Neuchâtel (Switzerland). In this way, the already secular Swiss Hispanism managed to attract and hold for the first time in its country one of the main and most important forums for interdisciplinary and plural academic dialogue, which brings together the world's Hispanists every three years.
At this meeting, the character of the IAI as a traditional open and inclusive forum where all those who make the Hispanic world, so multifaceted and diverse, their object of study or interest, are welcomed and come together, was once again made clear.
