Eros und Emanzipation in der französischsprachigen Sexuallexikographie

Eros und Emanzipation in der französischsprachigen Sexuallexikographie

0 Ungluers have Faved this Work
This volume examines specialist dictionaries of sexual vocabulary in French from the perspective of emancipation and presents the history of this so far largely overlooked text type. A close gender and taboo-linguistic analysis of six works from the late nineteenth and twentieth/twenty-first centuries reveals which sexual practices were recorded lexicographically, how they were evaluated, and how gender roles were distributed.
