This work traces the history of the text of Aristotle's collection of treatises known as Parva naturalia, based on an exhaustive study of all surviving manuscripts and their reception in antiquity and Byzantium, in particular through the commentary of Alexander of Aphrodisis on the treatise De sensu and that of Michael of Ephesus on the other treatises.
