The present study provides an analysis and commentary on the main part of the dissertation "Die hebräischen Traditionen in den
Werken des Hieronymus", written in 1861 by the Breslau rabbinate candidate Moritz Rahmer. ln this study, Rahmer examines the influence of late antique Jewish biblical interpretation on Jerome's Quaestiones in Genesin. Rahmer's work is situated within the broader framework of the Wissenschaft des Judentums.
