Marine fish farming of snook in Colombia faces nutritional challenges, but significant progress has been made in larval feeding and in the formulation of balanced feeds. In this context, the book comprehensively addresses the challenges and advances in this field, in addition to highlighting the importance of nutrition in sea bass farming, where there are achievements in larval feeding, which contributes to improve the viability of production. It also highlights the relevance of the formulation of balanced feeds to ensure optimum growth of fish. Snook farming is presented as a promising alternative to counteract the overexploitation of the species in Colombia, and optimal areas have been identified in the Colombian Caribbean for the development of marine fish farming of snook. The identification of suitable areas for farming is fundamental, since the sustainable growth of this activity in the country depends on them.
