This volume aims to provide a record of the research presented at the International Conference Forms in Motion. Models, Methods, and Contexts between Continuity and Innovation, held in Padua on 16–17 November 2023. The study days, organized by the PhD candidates of the 37th cycle of the Doctoral Programme in History, Criticism, and Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Padua, gave rise to a vibrant moment of interdisciplinary exchange. Young scholars from various national and international academic institutions had the opportunity to bring their research into dialogue, starting from an analysis of the concepts of continuity and innovation as they appear in the dynamics of the Cultural Heritage landscape. The central theme of the conference stimulated reflections concerning the historical-artistic, archaeological, musicological, film, and performing arts contexts, with particular attention to emerging scientific methodologies applied therein. Participants reflected on the role of the model as a point of reference and comparison, and on the dynamic of movement as an agent of change and transformation in the field of Cultural Heritage. The thirty contributions gathered in this publication, pertaining to the various disciplinary areas mentioned above, reflect the richness and variety of perspectives offered by the speakers.
