This volume collects the proceedings of the conference organized by the Department of Educational Sciences "Giovanni Maria Bertin" of the University of Bologna in 2023, on the centenary of Bruno Ciari's birth, in collaboration with the Municipality of Bologna and the Educational Cooperation Movement. This is not a mere collection of presentations, but a broader reworking in the form of scholarly essays, memoirs, and testimonies from current teachers. The aim is to reflect on the legacy of the "Master of Certaldo," a key figure in the renewal of Italian society and education in the post-World War II period, intertwining history, current events, and collective memory.
