Er ordnet das philosophische Problem der Natur damit in eine Wiederentdeckung metaphysischer Fragestellungen ein, die er originell vorantreibt – und beweist, dass sich die Philosophie dadurch nicht nur zur bloßen Kommentatorin der Naturwissenschaften machen muss.
