Während aktuelle Diskurse Fallbearbeitung vor allem professions- und interaktionstheoretisch analysieren, erweitern die Beiträger*innen diese Perspektive und zeigen die zentrale Rolle von Organisationen als Instanzen der Formierung und Bearbeitung von Fällen auf. Sie diskutieren empirisch-konzeptionell sowie theoretisch Formen und Problematiken organisationaler Fallbearbeitung in unterschiedlichsten Feldern, z.B. in der sozialen Hilfe, der Medizin oder der Polizei, und bieten so Impulse für die Reflexion über die Optimierung, Digitalisierung und (Re-)Organisation von Fallbearbeitung.
