0 Ungluers have Faved this Work
Regenerative medicine and tissue engineering are life science disciplines that utilize engineering and biological principles to combine scaffold materials, cells, and bioactive molecules, thereby developing new tissues and organs, as well as facilitating the regeneration of damaged or diseased tissues and organs. Novel discoveries and developments in materials science, stem cell technology, nanotechnology, multi-omics, and bioengineering are profoundly advancing the disciplines of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, including the three-dimensional bioprinting of tissues and organs. Despite the encouraging progress, the practical application of these technologies faces several obstacles. This book critically examines the current advances in tissue engineering regarding different tissues and organs, thereby serving as a critical resource material for basic biologists, translational scientists, and clinicians.
