This volume is a collective intervention around the contemporary problematization of center-periphery and periphery-periphery relations, understood not only as geopolitical categories, but also as epistemological, ontological, and political conditions that permeate knowledge production on a global scale. Throughout its six parts, the book proposes to broaden, challenge, and reconfigure the field of peripheral thought, incorporating debates from different parts of the Global South, from subaltern intellectual traditions, and from ambiguous spaces where the periphery emerges even within the center. Thus, the book presents the work of authors from different nationalities and continents.
