Moving from an analysis of the issues in cataloguing printed materials with hybrid features, this volume proposes a model for a bibliographic description of archival documents produced in the sixteenth century using movable type. The catalogue of sixteenth-century imprints held in the General Archive of the Order of Servants of Mary represents the first example of a survey of materials that are essential to a comprehensive understanding of early modern typographic production, and an attempt at a cross-domain approach that enables broader access to these resources between archives and libraries.
