"Geschichte der Philologien" is the only academic journal worldwide dedicated to modern comparative philology, comparative in the sense of historical comparison and philosophical reflection on philological practice. The subjects represented include Sinology, Indology, Classical Philology, Arabic Studies, Romance Studies, German Studies, and many others. The international editorial board actively supports the journal, with renowned scholars representing the various subjects. The articles are published in three languages: German, English, and French.
