How do young people become active in left-wing politics? This empirical study reconstructs the process of left-wing politicization of young adults from a biographical perspective. With the question of biographical motivations, the formative execution, effects on the course of life and the social context conditions of politicization in adolescence, the interdisciplinary study is located at the interface of political socialization, biography, transition and education research.
