The transition from parental leave back into employment is rather seldom characterized by a harmonious return to work. However, returning to work in management consulting is a particularly sensitive process of (re)balancing the relationship between the domains of life. This study takes a closer look at this process and asks how the focused transition in the organizational context of management consultancies is produced, framed and executed by practices.
