Digitalität bestimmt zunehmend die ethnografisch-qualitative Forschung – von der Sammlung von Daten über deren Auswertung bis zur Niederschrift. Während sich Fragen der Qualität, Zugänglichkeit und Nutzungsmöglichkeiten von Daten neu stellen, ist die Weiterentwicklung ethnografisch-qualitativer Methoden noch lange nicht abgeschlossen. Für eine differenzierte Auseinandersetzung mit aktuellen Forschungsfeldern, Ergebnispräsentationen und Publikationsstrategien sind experimentelle Perspektiven auf klassische qualitativ-ethnografische Methoden und Daten notwendig. Die Beiträger*innen systematisieren konkrete Anwendungen, Weiterentwicklungen und Bedarfe und reflektieren die Herausforderungen anhand aktueller Forschungsprojekte.
