This is an illustrated book that tells the story of a person with serious mental health problems. It emphasizes their rights and their counterpart: the discrimination and social stigma they face. The text is divided into two parts: one tells the story of the character (named HOH) through illustrations and narratives; the other is a technical and scientific account, developed through educational units and didactic diagrams. The reader will choose which part to read based on their interests. The authors combine their theoretical knowledge and experience as mental health professionals in creating this text. They hope that by disseminating this text, they will contribute to the destigmatization of people with serious mental health problems, as this is a fundamental human right that must be respected, and above all, a key condition for treatment, rehabilitation, and social reintegration.
