Warum sind Verschwörungsfilme über den 11. September so erfolgreich? Wie werden sie verbreitet, was zeichnet ihre Rhetorik aus? In der Studie wird die Rhetorik sechs ausgewählter Dokumentarfilme untersucht. Dabei zeigt sich in der Auseinandersetzung mit ihrer Onlinepräsenz und audiovisueller Gestaltung, dass die Filme ihr Publikum nicht trotz, sondern gerade wegen ihrer oppositionellen Wahrheitsansprüche überzeugen.
