Die Prämisse, dass Sprachliches kulturell konstruktiv sein kann, ist für die Kulturlinguistik zentral und auch in angrenzenden linguistischen Forschungsrichtungen verbreitet. Doch was heißt das genau? Diese Frage beantworten die Beiträge des Bandes a) rein theoretisch und b) indem sie empirische Beispiele analysieren – für sprachliche Einheiten, die kulturell wirksam sein können, und für kulturelle Elemente, die sprachlich bewirkt werden können.
