La città analoga was created by Aldo Rossi, Eraldo Consolascio, Bruno Reichlin, and Fabio Reinhart. Few exhibition panels have had as much impact as La città analoga (The Analogous City) had at the 1976 Venice Biennale. Together with Eraldo Consolascio, Bruno Reichlin, and Fabio Reinhart, Aldo Rossi presented a vision for urban design that takes a creative approach to the historical richness of architecture. It shows the vitality of architecture, which seeks to create a connection between reality and imagination as an alternative to a narrow, functional way of thinking. The panel is included in the permanent exhibition Darling Architecture, which the Bonnefanten Museum has organized to mark the thirtieth anniversary of the museum building. The leaflet before you includes a reproduction of the original work and texts by Aldo Rossi, Fabio Reinhart, and Dario Rodighiero.
