Page proofs edited by John Dover Wilson, from the text of the second quarto. With the stories by Saxo Grammaticus and Belle-forest, each with an English translation, printed as consecutive borders to Shakespeare's text. Together with the editor's proof of textual notes, for a pocket at the end, the reader's proof of textual notes, pp. 25-31 only, and sample sheets of the German version, the Cranach Hamlet of 1929. The text illustrated by wood engravings by Edward Gordon Craig.
