This volume of the series Greek Anthology gathers, under the possible title Miscellaneous Epigrams, books IV, XIII, XIV and XV of the collection. First, the Prefaces written by the three primordial anthologists (Meleager, Philipp and Agathias). The remaining books, absent from the Cephalean garland as they seem to be, are mostly playful texts, poetic exercises on metrics (book XIII), arithmetic, riddles, enigmas, and oracles (book XIV). About book XV, it must be read as the locus spurius where the Palatine scribe put the pieces on whose poetic and semantic value he himself doubted. Special is the case for the technopaignia, ancient model of visual poetry.
