Academic fraud committed by students is a problem of institutional, social and moral order. It compromises the solidity of the basic structures of society, such as trust in institutions and interpersonal trust. This book presents and discusses the results of an extensive study conducted by professors of Coimbra University, also researchers of Centre for Social Studies, on academic fraud committed by students in higher education in Portugal, under which 7,292 students and 2,727 teachers were questioned.
