Im Polymer PMMA wurden durch Heißprägen sowohl stark führende, passive optische Wellenleiter wie auch organische DFB-Laser hergestellt und charakterisiert. Die Replikation der Strukturen erfolgte dabei durch auf Basis von mit UV- und Röntgenlithografie strukturierten Nickel-Shim-Formeinsätzen im LIGA-Verfahren.
