The book puts itself forward both as a training manual and as a concrete working tool for laboratory practice. Emerging from the encounter of scientific knowledge and long experience, it is designed to represent the essence of the bacteriology performed in a Clinical Microbiology laboratory of medium-large dimensions, illustrating the operational aspects with simple diagrams that are easy to apply.
