Jahrbuch Musiktherapie / Music Therapy Annual
0 Ungluers have Faved this Work
The Music Therapy Annual, volume 7, is concerned with the subject of “Boundaries and Transitions”. The authors (G. Bassarak, B. Dehm-Gauwerky, B. Irle, T. Leonhardmair, R. Liesert, S. Metzner) treat this topic in different ways depending on their respective therapeutical background or viewpoint. However, the articles also share common features, such as the necessity of the drawing up of boundaries for the recognition of one’s own self, which is what ultimately makes a relationship with others possible. In this sense, boundaries create connections. Another core theme is the crossing of boundaries which allows the acceptance of diverse creative invention. Music therapy, in this context, is regarded as working on the crossing of boundaries.
