This book is an adaptation of a thesis presented at the Universidad Andina Néstor Cáceres Velásquez de Juliaca, whose objective was the evaluation of three light-emitting diode photopolymerization techniques in the compressive strength of resin composed of nanoparticles. In the Methodology, the study is of explanatory level, cross-sectional and quasi-experimental, in the materials and methods sixty cylinders of resin composed of nanoparticles of the brand 3M™ Filtek™ Z350 XT of 4 mm diameter by 8 mm were made. tall, which were divided into three groups of 20 composite resin cylinders each, where each group was photopolymerized with the three different techniques for 20 seconds with a Woodpecker model LED.D light-emitting diode lamp; group 1 (N°=20) was polymerized with the intense light technique, group 2 (N°=20) with the ramp light technique and finally group 3 (N°=20) with the intermittent light technique. Subsequently, they were subjected to loads in kilograms in the Marshall MA-75 testing machine, where the compressive strength of the resin cylinders was measured. The results were constituted in tables using descriptive statistics, in addition to the statistical tests, the ANOVA test was used, where P = 0.000 was obtained, which indicated that there are statistically significant differences between the means of the values of the photopolymerization techniques. In conclusion, we have that there are statistical differences in the compressive strength of the nanoparticle resin, when photopolymerized with the three different techniques, obtaining that the compressive strength with the ramp technique had values greater than intense light and intermittent light, respectively.
