Poetry as a transterritory: theoretical-critical journeys This collective book has been conceived and organized with the aim of thinking of poetry as a genre that can be understood from the idea of territory, or from the tension between the territorialization–deterritorialization of languages in the creation process. At a general level, the authors propose that in the poetic dimension language opens up to broader conceptualizations such as the idea of transterritory: a territory that crosses other textual territories, deterritorializing them, but also a territory that allows itself to be crossed by other discourses, proposing nomadic territorializations. Poetry is the discourse which, by enhancing the possibilities of language at all its levels —those of sonority, words, syntax, semantics and discursive genre—makes it possible to operate territorial openings, which landmark or insinuate possible paths, and retrace the great tracks to proliferate in ramifications and allow to give way to divergent semantic, symbolic, ideological, affective, aesthetic and generic lines.
