Auch Gewerkschaften waren 2015 mit ankommenden Geflüchteten konfrontiert. Der Sommer der Migration löste innerhalb der Gewerkschaftsbewegung enorme Solidaritätsanstrengungen aus und regte die Organisierung von Geflüchteten an. Diese Initiativen blieben allerdings nie unumstritten. Mit Blick auf Österreich, Deutschland und die EU analysiert Neva Löw gewerkschaftliche Positionen und Diskurse und legt dar, welche Spannungen und Widersprüche bei diesen Solidaritätsinitiativen auftraten.
