Los Arenales

0 Ungluers have Faved this Work
This book shares, from a narrative approach, part of the oral history construction process of the Arenales de Antofagasta Macrocampamento. Informal settlement, composed mainly of South American migrant families. The stories articulate those moments of installation in the camp, going through processes of community organization and tensions and resistances around living in these spaces. This text aims to reconstruct fabrics of social and collective memory, through documentary records that confront the production of oblivion, problematizing voices and relationships and disputing meanings within the processes of community struggles and organization.
