Die öffentlichen Bilder und Diskurse über die jüngsten Fluchtmigrationsbewegungen lösen im Kontext des europäischen Grenzregimes eine Art moralische Panik aus. Im Gegensatz dazu plädiert Frauke Schacht für eine Denkhaltung, aus der Menschen als handelnde Personen, als Expert*innen ihres eigenen Lebens in Erscheinung treten: Eine Haltung, die nicht nur die hegemoniale Normalität dekonstruiert, sondern neue Perspektiven auf marginalisierte Geschichten, alltägliche Erfahrungen und kreative (Über-)Lebensstrategien eröffnet. Damit liefert sie eine konzeptionelle Idee für eine zukünftige Forschung zum Thema Flucht, die die Perspektive der Flüchtenden ins Zentrum stellt.
