The objective was to evaluate job satisfaction and productive performance of community fish farmers. The research work was carried out in the trout production units of the Pacococha community, district and province of Castrovirreyna. The study variables were job satisfaction and productivity. The type of research is basic. The level of the research is correlational. The method is descriptive, qualitative and quantitative, describing the variables involved and analyzing their incidence and interrelation according to the cause-effect relationship. The research design was descriptive-correlational. The research population consisted of 20 fish farmers, including workers and managers, and due to the fact that the number of units that integrated it was accessible in its totality, this was equal to the sample, i.e. the 20 fish farmers. For the support of the theoretical part, different bibliographic sources were consulted and for the field work, questionnaires were applied to the identified sample, formulating two instruments, which were validated in a timely manner by expert judgment, in order to make their corresponding application effective; the instruments used were the job satisfaction and productivity survey questionnaires, where each question was asked according to the variables considering their dimensions and indicators, with which the pertinent information was obtained from the workers of the production units. The results show a Pearson correlation coefficient r = 0.672, with a significance level of less than 0.05 (p-value = 0.001). Therefore, since the p-value is significant, we conclude that there is a correlation between the study variables, the alternative hypothesis is accepted with a confidence level of 95%. As a main conclusion, it has been determined through the research that the productivity of the human factor is positively and moderately related to the job satisfaction of the production personnel of the fish farms, with a degree of relationship of 45.2%.
