In the course of numerous technological developments, it is increasingly possible for the state to use complex algorithmic decision-making systems. Based on a critical examination of the legal understanding of decisions, the interdisciplinary informed, ›descriptive methodology of decision architecture‹ is introduced to enable an analytical de- and reconstruction of the state's transforming decision-making structures with the objective of guarantee effective constitutional control.
