Reflections and Challenges of Latin American Environmental Law aims to disclose research results on contemporary debates in environmental matters present in the region. Which include topics related to participatory governance, climate justice, legal mining, environmental justice, participatory democracy, and the precautionary principle, among others. The presented texts suggest that environmental conflicts have different origins, causes, and manifestations, and their capacities to confront them are dissimilar.
