Title in English: The Club of Moravian Composers: History and Present The present monograph by the authors’ collective comprehensively in three chapters deals with the important development stages and milestones of the Club of Moravian Composers, an association of composers, performers, publicists, theoreticians and promoters of contemporary musical art, which was founded in 1922 by Brno composers led by Leoš Janáček and whose activities were artificially terminated in 1948 by its incorporation into the Union of Czechoslovak Composers. However, the authors of the publication also map this period and the following, new phase from 1992 to the present, when it was renewed again as an independent Club of Moravian Composers on the initiative of the Brno composer, musicologist and publicist Pavel Blatný.
