Along with socio-economic developments, we are seeing further challenges to which business managers in various areas of the economy must respond. These changes are not only due to the increasing spread of new technologies, but also to global crises and trends. The need to respect the principles of sustainability throughout the supply chain is being increasingly emphasised. For this reason, this publication is devoted to selected contemporary challenges related to transport, forwarding and logistics in this context. The monograph is the fruit of cooperation between employees of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Łódź and students and graduates of the following faculties: logistics and logistics in economy. The result is a study which considers the experiences of the youngest generation entering the labour market or taking their first steps in logistics-related professions. The interaction between students and staff has made it possible to draw several conclusions that can provide valuable guidance for both future researchers and practitioners implementing various types of solutions in business areas related to transport, forwarding and logistics.
