This Special Issue on pulmonary sarcoidosis is a state-of-the-art review of the clinical aspects of the disease. The manifestations of pulmonary sarcoidosis are discussed, including its symptoms, chest imaging findings, and pulmonary function test results. The approach to the diagnosis of sarcoidosis is well-outlined. The treatment of pulmonary sarcoidosis is explored in terms of the management of granulomatous inflammation and the proper use of sarcoidosis medications. Complications of pulmonary sarcoidosis are described including pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, and infectious complications. It is hoped that this issue will be valuable to clinicians and assist in improving the care of pulmonary sarcoidosis patients.
