Migration und die zunehmende Vielfalt der Gesellschaft fordern Kulturinstitutionen und die Kulturpolitik heraus. Das betrifft nicht nur die Frage der »Kanonisierung« dessen, was als »Hochkultur« gilt, sondern auch die Kulturproduktion selbst: Wer spricht, wer darf worüber sprechen? Welche Geschichten werden erzählt und damit sichtbar gemacht? Wer ist »wir« und wer sind »die Anderen«? Die Beiträge des Bandes bringen die Ergebnisse des Forschungsprojekts »Kulturproduktion in der Migrationsgesellschaft« (KultMIX) in einen Dialog mit der kulturellen und kulturpolitischen Praxis. Ihre innovativen Perspektiven verschaffen neue Einsichten in die Möglichkeiten und Herausforderungen im Umgang mit Migration, Diversität und gesellschaftlichem Wandel.
