Les projets alimentaires territoriaux
0 Ungluers have Faved this Work
Introduced by the 2014 law on the future of agriculture, food and forestry, territorial food projects (PATs) have seen unprecedented popularity in recent years. While in July 2019 only 27 PATs were recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, there will be 435 by 2024. This enthusiasm, rekindled by the Covid-19 crisis, expresses a joint desire - between public action and citizens' wishes - to promote the territorialization of agriculture and food. The PAT scheme invites local authorities and project territories to play an active part in this dynamic. The fruit of collaboration between some twenty researchers from five research laboratories, this book sheds light on the main issues, questions and controversies linked to the implementation of territorial food projects. It combines theoretical frameworks with case studies from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, while giving a voice to the various local players involved in these projects. Aimed at local authorities, as well as teachers, students and citizens interested in agriculture-food relations, this book is an invitation to strengthen the links between research and operational action, essential for the success of this type of collective initiative.
