Book 2 multidisciplinary research, in its social sciences section, includes chapters that seek to update the knowledge obtained through observation and experimentation, through the use of certain new and modern technological tools, which can improve the student's English language learning skills. English is today the language of international communication, and is therefore an indispensable requirement in all areas of education for its advancement and development. Another chapter highlights the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on the tourism and sports sectors, which are closely related, and which during the critical period of the pandemic led to event cancellations, financial losses, job cuts, producing a serious problem in these sectors that subsisted on events with crowds of people; but which, unfortunately, due to SARS VOC 2, had a considerable decrease in income. Finally, the Social Sciences book presents the chapter on quality management of higher education in Ecuador which explores the importance of implementing effective quality management systems within the scope of higher education institutions. Recognising the growing importance of academic excellence and increasing competition among educational institutions, the article emphasises the need for sound quality management practices to ensure the delivery of high quality education and student-centred services.
