The volume arises from the reflections developed during the international conference "Cultures, creativity, inclusive societies. Towards a Mediterranean model for intercultural sustainability in the Ionian territory (M.E.D.I.A.T.I.O.N. project)", which took place in Taranto on 8 and 9 February 2023. Taking inspiration from the crucial issues of Cluster 2 of the Horizon Europe program “Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society”, the authors offer different epistemological frameworks to read the migratory phenomenon in all its complexity. The privileged focus of the research is represented by the participation and inclusion projects promoted in the regions of Southern Italy.
