This memoir of George Tamura's internment during WW II at Tule Lake, one of the US Relocation camps for Japanese Americans. He was 15 and sent to the camps with his family and 120,000 Americans because of their race. He was an artist and made paintings that were discovered in an historical society in 2004 and were featured on the PBS show "History Detectives." He self-published this memoir which the TV detectives found through the LA Museum of Japanese Americans.
