Around three quarters of suicides in Austria are committed by men. Carmen Schlojer presents comprehensive explanatory approaches and current statistical data. The focus is on the presentation of current research findings that show how suicide prevention and help in crises must be designed so that men can benefit from them. She also sheds light on the challenges that men experience when seeking and accepting help and offers insights into the underlying causes of these difficulties.
