Staphylococcus aureus is one of the main pathogenic microorganisms of humans. Many studies have been carried out on this bacterium worldwide due to its importance for human and animal health. In this book, we have published several chapters in order to contribute to the knowledge and study of this important microorganism in which aspects related to its pathogenic factors, its capacity to form biofilms, its detection and its presence in a pediatric population are reviewed. A final chapter depicts what awaits us in the study of this microorganism. We invite you to explore the world of Staphylococcus aureus and hope that this book will be of great use to you in studying this challenging microorganism.
